    Whether you are tying your boots for a full day of challenging walking or you just want a 30 minutes stroll, Brechfa Forest and the surrounding area caters for all levels. Whichever route you decide to choose Brechfa showcases some of the most beautiful scenery.

    Brechfa forest offers the very best in dog friendly terrain, perfect for any dog to explore or let them stretch their legs and run for miles on the beautiful beaches. Our personal favourite (well Skippers and Timbers) is LLansteffan beach 25 minutes from our front door but Kidwelly and Pembrey Country Park are also very good.

    Both our local pubs are dog friendly and often offer a little yummy snack for our 4 legged friends.

    Where do we start, there really is so much fun to be had. Check out the Mountain biking trails or just explore Brechfa Forest. Spend a day at any one of the local beaches or walk the miles of Coastal Path or treat yourself and step back in time and visit any of the amazing nearby castles such as Llansteffan, Kidwelly, Carreg Cennan, Laugharne, Dinefwr or Dryslwyn.

    There are loads of idyllic family and dog friendly pubs to try out, not to mention a variety of independent shops and indoor food markets in both nearby towns of Carmarthen and Llandeilo.
